IWFL Championship Weekend returns to Round Rock for another huge weekend of women’s Football!
On July 28th, 2012 the best in Women’s tackle Football will converge once again on the hometown of the IWFL, Round Rock Texas.
This year will see a new event added to the lineup as the weekend expands to include the International Challenge Game. This invitational game features the top Tier 3 teams affiliated with the league.
The weekend hits high gear on Saturday for the newly rebranded “Founders Bowl” game featuring the top Tier 2 teams in North America. Then on Saturday evening all eyes will be on Kelly Reeves Sports Complex where The IWFL World Championship will pit the top IWFL Tier 1 teams against each other in a winner take all game to decide who will take home what has been dubbed by media as the “holy grail” of women’s tackle football, the IWFL World Championship title.
Sunday brings the annual match up of the best players in each IWFL Conference for the IWFL All Star Game. This game features players from all over North America chosen by a league-wide vote of coaches and players based on their ability and achievment during the season.
