Downey, CA - Approximately 120 players, coaches and staff members from the California Quake, Southern California Breakers and Los Angeles Amazons participated in the first annual, West Coast Clinic last Saturday, January 16, 2010.

The teams came together to teach the basic football fundamentals to ladies interested in playing football. This clinic provided players the opportunity to learn from several coaches and soak in their vast amounts of knowledge.

This successful event to promote women’s football and improve the quality of play displayed on the field each Saturday could not have happened without Coach Duncan of the Los Angeles Amazons, Coach Ojeda of the Southern California Breakers and Coach Penn of the California Quake.

Thank you to the IWFL for their continuous support in our ongoing event, everyone that participated and assisted in making this event happen. We look forward to doing this event again next year in hopes of an even larger attendance and inviting more IWFL teams.
